Yesterday we started discussing the various aspects of viruses and bacteria. As an activity we began working on a crossword  puzzle. This puzzle must have 10 of the vocabulary terms located in the vocabulary review on pg. 472 or chapter 20 of your text. You must also select 6 more terms either from the text reading, supplimentary reading, or vocabulary review to give your crossword puzzle a total of at least 16 words. You must develope a question format for across and down terms, just like a crossword puzzle works. This assignment is due on Friday 11-13-98.

Today in class, we discussed topics to be considered for our semester projects. Projects ranged from placebos and their working relationship within our brain. The use of electromagnetism as a theraputic approach, psychological approaches which produce chemicals in our body to be produced like ( the women who finds her husband trapped under the car and lifts it off of him when normally she could not pick up a 50 lb. sac of feed), due to adrenoline production.

We then watched a 6 min. film over AIDS which you will need to make up. For the remaining portion of class, we worked on completion of our crossword puzzles.
