• Know about pseudopodia, cytoplasmic streaming and how they go together and why organisms use the particular type of movement.
• Know how dinoflagellates, blooms (population explosions), neuro toxins, and PSP all go together.
• Know what bioluminescence is.
• The trychonympha is in the zoomastigote phylum and what symbiotic relationship does it play with termites.
• Euglenas- 1/3 are photosynthetic the rest are heterotrophic.
• Paramecium's are the example of ciliates, know about their contractile vacyuole and the two nuclei and their functions.
• How are diatoms economically important, and what is their shell made up of.
• Green algae belong to the phylum chlorophyta, why do scientist fell these are ancestors to the plants.
• what is significant about the pigment phycobilins in the red algae.
• What is unique about the brown algae phylum phaeophyta organisms.
• Which phylum of protist do not move on their own.
• Know the life cycle or stages of malaris and the protsit plasmodium.  Make sure you know what organism transmits the plasmodium and what sex is is.
• Know what we discussed about the disease Leshmaniasis and Chages disease.
• Why do people die of anemia they get malaria.
