As teachers, we will...
* Work closely with you, the parents, to see that you are informed about Title I, its goals and purposes, and how it will support you.
* Provide your child with educational activities that are appropriate and timely.
* Provide a caring and encouraging environment in which your child can learn.
* Provide materials for use at home that are appropriate for your child's needs.
* Use special activities in the classroom to make learning enjoyable.
* Provide books for reading at home that are on your child's appropriate level.
We wil show support by:
* Providing parent training sessions to help you with ideas for giving assistance to your child at home.
* Providing progress reports on your child during conferences held at the beginning, middle and end of the year.
* Encouraging you to take part in your child's learning in the Title I program and in the regular classroom.
* Providing newsletters, brochures and other articles of information that will give you some assistance in working with your child.
