K-State Libraries offers tours and instructional services for K-12 students. Tours and instructional services are tailored to the needs of each visiting class.
This is a great opportunity to expand your students research options, gain experience in a larger academic library, and get a taste of college life. Elementary & Middle School
-Tour of Hale Library including such areas as the Juvenile Literature Collection, Dow Multicultural Resource Center, and murals throughout the building
-Introduction to the K-State Libraries catalog
-Story time, if requested
High School

-Database research instruction-visits can include time for research in conjunction with class assignments and projects
-Orientation to the Library of Congress call number system
