Course Description
: This course is a description of the earth. Students will study the physical environment and its impact on our history and life-styles. Students will learn about the tools of mapping, location and description of places, climates, physical features and forces of change.

WORLD HISTORY

Grade Level: 9,10,11 12
Course Description
: This course is designed to study significant historical time periods or civilizations that impacted the development of man. Some events covered will include pre-history, the Roman Empire, the Greek Civilization, Medival Europe and the Renisance Period, and World Wars.

APPLIED ECONOMICS

: semester Grade Level: 12 Prerequisites: none
Course Description
: This course focuses on economic concepts such as supply and demand, resources in the economy, the government's role in the economy, and monetary policy. Emphasis will be placed on the practical application of concepts. Simulations will be used to provide practical application of economic concepts.
