Senior Math
The
Senior Math course at Council Grove High School has been designed
as
an elective course which reviews numerous concepts from all areas
of the high school math curriculum. It has also included the introduction
of other mathematical concepts not covered in other courses. One
of the main emphasis has been problem solving and application
of concepts to the real world. This will remain to be the design
of the Senior Math course for the 1996-97 school year.
Beginning with the 1997-98 school year, this course will be restructured
and offered as an elective to Juniors and Seniors. Various topics
of mathematics will be presented as units, with the possibility
of students selecting the units in which they are most interested.
Some topics would be required of all students. Outcomes for this
course will be written and presented at a later date (Spring of
1997).
