Security
It pays
to be slightly paranoid about the security of your computer,
particularly if you keep grades and tests on an unprotected
hard drive. Passwords should not be words you can look up in
a dictionary or something any moron could guess, such as "Password."
I recommend a mixture of numerals and letters with the odd mixture
of lower and upper case letters. To help you remember, you might
consider doing a sort of license plate thing. For example: 8isenuf
Any computer running System 9 or later can be set up to protect
your hard drive with a user id and password.
Just go to Control Panels, Multiple Users. More information
is available in the library if you require assistance.
