MANHATTAN HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARS' BOWL LETTERING POLICY


It is possible for students to earn a school letter in Scholars' Bowl. The following criteria are used:

1. Serve on a Varsity Scholars' Bowl team in five varsity tournaments during the season. Records of participation are maintained by the coach.

2. Practice with the team during regularly scheduled sessions. It is the responsibility of the student to notify the coach when he/she cannot attend practice.

3. Demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect during practices and competitions.

4. Maintain academic standards in classroom work. Low grades create ineligibility.

5. Assist in the readiness and operation of the Manhattan High School Invitational Tournament.
