QUINTER HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARS' BOWL LETTERING POLICY


LETTERING CRITERIA:

1. Participate in 6 or more Varsity matches. Records of such participation are maintained by the coach.

2. Practice with the team during the regularly scheduled season according to requirements spelled out by the coach. It is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements for make-up sessions when weekly requirements cannot be met.

3. Demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect during practices and competitions.

4. Maintain academic standards in classroom work. Low grades create ineligibility (overall average of "C" or below in any class). Two weeks will be allowed to bring the grade up to "B". A second infraction will result in being dropped from the team.


The original recognition is a school letter, and a Lamp of Learning pin to be worn on the letter. Each year following is honored by a gold bar.
