7th Grade Reading and Reading Lab |

| Reading:
They are required to read 500 pages in novels checked
out from CGES media center per nine weeks. The students are expected
to complete vocabulary lessons Students read selections from the Literature
text also. Reading Lab: This is a pass/fail, semester class for 6th through 8th graders that focuses on strengthening phonemic awareness, reading subskills, and comprehension. The class also includes a read aloud novel study, Sustained Silent Reading, and vocabulary support. |
